Recap: Dilley Wolves vs. Three Rivers Bulldogs
The Dilley Wolves lost against the Three Rivers Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Dilley ended up on the wrong side of a rough 61-40 walloping at the hands of Three Rivers. Dilley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Dilley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dorian Aranda. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Benjamin Gonzales, who scored 8 points.
Dilley has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Three Rivers, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Dilley will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against San Isidro at 2:30 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (San Isidro is ranked 1413th, while Dilley is ranked 1405th). As for Three Rivers, they will take on Natalia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
