Grace barely beat Oak Park the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lancers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 10-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Grace got a great performance from Nathan Ikenouye as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Daniel Morlett was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Gavin Willis was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Grace's record now sits at 6-3. As for Oak Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Grace and Oak Park will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lancers will face off against rival St. Bonaventure at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Oak Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Simi Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
