Basketball Recap: Clearwater Central Catholic's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Clearwater Central Catholic lost against Calvary Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders took a 44-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calvary Christian Warriors. The contest marked the Marauders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the loss, Clearwater Central Catholic still got an impressive performance from Emme Dalhoff, who posted 14 points and five steals. Dalhoff is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Sophia Landen, who had six points and three steals.

Clearwater Central Catholic's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Calvary Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
