Basketball Game Preview: York Cougars vs. A.C. Flora Falcons

The York Cougars will face off against the A.C. Flora Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 18 consecutive losses dating back to last season for York and three for A.C. Flora.

York is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against Dreher on Friday, falling 59-36.

Despite the defeat, York had strong showings from A'Merianna Ingram, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards, and Gracin Carroll, who posted 15 points. Those ten rebounds gave Ingram a new career-high.

Even though they lost, York smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, A.C. Flora was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 65-59 to South Pointe. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (57), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

York's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for A.C. Flora, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
