Baseball Recap: Sigourney's Undefeated Season over After 14 Games

Sigourney suffered their closest loss since July 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the North Linn Lynx by a score of 5-3. The contest marked the Savages' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sigourney fell to 13-1. As for North Linn, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sigourney will take on English Valleys at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Savages are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for North Linn, they will face off against Beckman at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Trailblazers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
