Greeley West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 58-23 defeat at the hands of the Poudre Impalas. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-37 back in January.

Luke Foster was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points in addition to eight boards and seven steals for Poudre. Foster is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 25 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Cornell-Nosaka, who went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points.

Greeley West's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Poudre, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-9.

Greeley West and Poudre could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. Greeley West (ranked 310th) will meet Windsor (ranked 28th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Poudre will square off against Loveland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 121 places (170 vs. 49).
