Football Recap: Olympus Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Olympus extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-3. They took a blow against the Davis Darts, falling 42-14. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Titans, who until this contest were averaging 14.6 points allowed.

Although Olympus took the loss, they still got scores from Adam Bywater and Will Farnsworth.

Don't try to pin the team's loss on the defense: they kept the trenches locked down and allowed a mere 3.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Bywater for the heroic effort on defense: he. Olympus' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.2.

A big part of Davis' win came down to the chemistry between Tradon Bessinger and his top target Bode Sparrow. Bessinger threw for 401 yards and six touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes while Sparrow picked up 110 receiving yards and three scores. That's the most receiving touchdowns Sparrow has posted since back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Olympus will host Alta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Titans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Davis, they will venture away from home to face off against American Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 934 yards in their previous games.
