Baseball Recap: Mountain Home Comes Up Short

Mountain Home came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Harrison Goblins by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Bombers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Goblins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Mountain Home has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Harrison, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Goblins beat Mountain Home by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.
