Basketball Game Preview: Eagle Valley Devils vs. Regis Groff Fusion

The Eagle Valley Devils will square off against the Regis Groff Fusion on Wednesday. Eagle Valley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Eagle Valley strolled past Battle Mountain with points to spare, taking the game 43-28.

Eagle Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Mandeville out in front who went 6-for-12 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. That's the most boards Mandeville has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Abby Talbot, who had eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Regis Groff made off with a 36-35 victory over DSST: Montview.

Regis Groff is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.4 points over those games. Eagle Valley now has a winning record of 12-11.
