Basketball Recap: Scurry-Rosser Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Scurry-Rosser and Westwood squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Scurry-Rosser had to settle for second. They took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westwood Panthers.

Scurry-Rosser's loss dropped their record down to 26-3. As for Westwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Scurry-Rosser does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westwood, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Lions on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kountze comes in on 21 and Westwood on seven.
