Recap: Glens Falls Indians vs. South Glens Falls Bulldogs
The Glens Falls Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 59-50 victory over South Glens Falls. This was payback for Glens Falls, who suffered a 40-33 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glens Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Piper Eddy, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Carolyn Lunt, who scored 13 points.
Glens Falls pushed their record up to 4-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for South Glens Falls, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.
Glens Falls will head out on the road to face off against Johnstown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Johnstown comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. South Glens Falls will be home for the holidays to greet Hudson Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hudson Falls will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 269th, while South Glens Falls is ranked 103rd).
