Softball Recap: Conway Wampus Cats vs. Central Tigers
Conway can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They never let the Central Tigers onto the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The win was nothing new for Conway as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Conway pushed their record up to 9-3-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs per game. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conway is on the road again on Friday to play Fayetteville at 5:00 p.m. As for Central, they will challenge Little Rock Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
