Soccer Recap: Westminster Schools of Augusta Comes Up Short

If Westminster Schools of Augusta was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Augusta E last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Augusta Christian Lions on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Westminster Schools of Augusta's goal came courtesy of Joliene Romero, who's now up to three this season.

Westminster Schools of Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Schools of Augusta will challenge Lake Oconee Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 28th. As for Augusta Christian, they will take on Greenbrier at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
