Basketball Game Preview: Purnell Swett Rams vs. Scotland Fighting Scots

The Purnell Swett Rams will look to defend their home court against the Scotland Fighting Scots at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Purnell Swett is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-59 heartbreaker at the hands of Gray's Creek.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Scotland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They snuck past Union Pines with a 65-59 victory on Friday. Purnell Swett's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Scotland, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-12 record.
