Volleyball Recap: Washington's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Washington had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Rapid City Central Cobblers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-8.

Washington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hannah Nesdahl, who had 21 digs and five aces. That's the most aces Nesdahl has posted since back in October. The team also got some help courtesy of Ivy Freesemann, who had 13 digs and two assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Washington was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive matches.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Rapid City Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.
