Volleyball Recap: Wright City Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Wright City hadn't done well against Montgomery County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Wright City blew past Montgomery County 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Monday.

One reason for the win was Wright City's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12, 25-10.

Wright City's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Montgomery County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Wright City will venture away from home to take on Centralia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Montgomery County, they will face off against Warrenton at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
