Baseball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Summit Christian Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ripley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to the Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost six in a row.

Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Ripley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-2 record this season.

Summit Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-3 win against Hominy on the 2nd. Hopefully Ripley paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles on Friday.
