Basketball Recap: Faith Baptist School Comes Up Short

Faith Baptist School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Greenwood Mennonite Flames 70-21. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Faith Baptist School lost, don't look at Bryce Binkley. Despite the final result, he posted ten points and five rebounds.

Greenwood Mennonite's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Kent, who went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points. The dominant performance also gave Kent a new career-high in assists (two). Blake Mast was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Faith Baptist School's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Greenwood Mennonite, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

As of now, neither Faith Baptist School nor Greenwood Mennonite have any future games scheduled.
