Monterey is 2-8 against Hollister since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Dores will take on the Haybalers at 6:00 p.m. Monterey will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Monterey's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Everett Alvarez as they made off with a 17-0 victory. Considering the Dores have won nine matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ella Myers made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and one double.

In other batting news, Eastin Jennings was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Lily Smith also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
