Recap: Onaga Buffaloes vs. Troy Trojans

The Onaga Buffaloes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 66-15 loss at the hands of Troy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Onaga has scored all season.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Onaga struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Onaga's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Troy, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Onaga on the road again on Tuesday and play against Frankfort at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Frankfort presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Onaga in Kansas (Frankfort is ranked 46th, while Onaga is ranked 263rd). As for Troy, they will head out on the road to take on Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on Tuesday. Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy's defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so Troy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
