Baseball Game Preview: Middleton Tigers vs. Bradford Red Devils

The Middleton Tigers will square off against the Bradford Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Middleton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Middleton fell victim to Walnut and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Bradford came up short against McKenzie on Friday and fell 10-5. The Red Devils have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Middleton has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Middleton might still be hurting after the 13-0 loss they got from Bradford when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
