Basketball Recap: Duluth East Comes Up Short

Duluth East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Forest Lake Rangers. The Greyhounds were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rangers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Duluth East's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Forest Lake, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duluth East has already played their next match (against Cambridge-Isanti), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Forest Lake will take on Stillwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Forest Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Stillwater likes a good challenge.
