Basketball Recap: Walt Whitman Takes a Loss

After flying high against Patchogue-Medford last Thursday, Walt Whitman came back down to earth. The Walt Whitman Wildcats came up short against the Longwood Lions on Monday, falling 64-41. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Walt Whitman's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Longwood, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Walt Whitman will head out on the road to square off against Brentwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Longwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
