Volleyball Recap: Purnell Swett Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Purnell Swett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cape Fear Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-12.

Cape Fear found their leader in sophomore Sophia Wilson, who had 11 assists and six digs.

Purnell Swett's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Cape Fear, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
