Baseball Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short

Centerville has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.7 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 14-1 to the Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders. The Elks have struggled against the Fighting Crusaders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Archbishop Moeller, they pushed their record up to 21-3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Centerville will head out to challenge Olentangy Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Elks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Archbishop Moeller, they will welcome Western Hills at 5:00 p.m. on the 27th.
