Volleyball Recap: Cosumnes Oaks Comes Up Short

Cosumnes Oaks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Pleasant Grove Eagles, falling 3-0. If the Wolfpack were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cosumnes Oaks was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Pleasant Grove work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 28-26.

James Lor paced Cosumnes Oaks' offense, picking up eight kills. Lor got some help from Jonathan Truong and his 14 assists.

Cosumnes Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pleasant Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Cosumnes Oaks has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Franklin on the 6th. As for Pleasant Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Elk Grove on the 6th.
