Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Victorious

Faith Christian hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They escaped with a win on Thursday against the Harmony Christian Hawks by the margin of a single free throw, 41-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Faith Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Faith Christian was led to victory by Joeraan Williams and Lucas Gonzalez. Williams posted 21 points, while Gonzalez earned 15 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Faith Christian's points.

Faith Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-8. As for Harmony Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Faith Christian will host Kearny Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Harmony Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Faith Christian at 3:30 p.m. on January 30th.
