After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Roosevelt brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past the Conrad Chargers 35-14 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Roosevelt's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Sir Brandon Minor and D'Adrien Starling, who racked up all four sacks between them. Another thorn in Conrad's side was Tra'Darius Cook, who made ten total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Although Conrad took the loss, they still got scores from Quentin Gabriel and Jonathon Anthony.
