Basketball Game Preview: North Smithfield Northmen vs. Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights

North Smithfield has gone 8-1-1 against Exeter-West Greenwich recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The North Smithfield Northmen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights at 6:30 p.m. North Smithfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.8 points per game this season.

Last Friday, North Smithfield ended up a good deal behind Times Squared Academy and lost 69-55.

North Smithfield might have lost, but man, Sam Drolet was a machine: he posted 26 points. The contest was Drolet's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Reilly, who scored 13 points.

Meanwhile, Exeter-West Greenwich lost to Mt. Hope at home by a 60-42 margin on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Scarlet Knights in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now lost seven in a row.

North Smithfield now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Everything came up roses for North Smithfield against Exeter-West Greenwich when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 75-44 win.
