Basketball Recap: Caleb Hagan Key Part of a Team Effort in Panthers Win

Foundation Christian Academy won the last time they faced Florida College Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Foundation Christian Academy Panthers managed a 55-51 victory over the Florida College Academy Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Foundation Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleb Hagan, who posted 20 points and eight rebounds. Hagan's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Tyndale Pittman was another key player, putting up 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Foundation Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Florida College Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers challenge the Lakeside Christian Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Florida College Academy, they will head out to take on American Youth Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. American Youth Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.4 points per game this season.
