Baseball Preview: South Portland Red Riots vs. Deering Rams

South Portland is 9-0 against Deering since May of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Meanwhile, Deering scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Kennebunk out 10-9. Deering's win was all the more impressive since Kennebunk was averaging only 3.77 runs allowed on the season.

Andrew Cook made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Cook was also solid in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with two RBI.
