Basketball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King lost against Carroll back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs took a 51-35 bruising from the Tigers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Carroll, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. King will take on Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial in a holiday battle at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Carroll and Corpus Christi Moody will compete for holiday cheer at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
