Meanwhile, Picayune gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against D'Iberville by a score of 28-19. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Maroon Tide.
Gulfport's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1. As for Picayune, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
