Soccer Game Preview: Piper vs. Deerfield Beach

The Piper Bengals are taking a road trip to face off against the Deerfield Beach Bucks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Piper is headed into the matchup having not lost since December 3 and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Monarch could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Piper's goal came courtesy of Avani Medina, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Deerfield Beach has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 9. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Hallandale. The win was some much needed relief for the Bucks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Deerfield Beach's draw makes their record 3-6-2 this season. As for Piper, they moved theirs to 13-3-2.
