Basketball Recap: Lagrange's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fayette County, LaGrange was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They snuck past the Gonzales Apaches with a 40-36 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Grangers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

LaGrange's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8. As for Gonzales, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.

LaGrange will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Clayton on December 30th. Gonzales will take on Calhoun in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
