Basketball Recap: Joseph Delgado Key Part of a Team Effort in Chiefs Win

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Lake View ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Levelland Lobos by a score of 61-53. This was payback for the Chiefs, who suffered a 73-61 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joseph Delgado, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 15 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Delgado a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylon White, who went 7 of 16 en route to 17 points and five boards.

The win got Lake View back to even at 12-12. As for Levelland, they now have a losing record at 14-15.

Lake View has already played their next game, a 61-46 loss against Liberty on the 24th. As for Levelland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 81-56 defeat against Estacado on the 24th.
