DeForest proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 35) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Westfield Area Pioneers 50-47. The win was nothing new for the Norskies as they're now sitting on three straight.

DeForest's record now sits at 7-5. As for Westfield Area, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeForest will venture away from home to square off against Monona Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Westfield Area, they will square off against Randolph at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
