Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Comes Up Short

Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Andover Golden Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-8.

Farah Berty was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six aces and three digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high. Kendall Bent also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Andover, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence will take on Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Andover, they will host Haverhill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
