Geraldine waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Sylvania Rams 17-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 last Tuesday.

Geraldine pushed their record up to 13-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.5 runs. As for Sylvania, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Geraldine will challenge North Jackson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sylvania, they will take on Plainview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rams are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
