It was a good run, but West Point unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 76-65 to the Russellville Golden Tigers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (64), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Russellville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Point will face off against Deshler at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Russellville, they will challenge Lawrence County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lawrence County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Russellville likes a good challenge.
