Volleyball Recap: Ooltewah Takes a Loss

The Ooltewah Owls came up short against the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe was led to victory by Shaylie Maye and Kinley Slatton. Maye had nine digs, while Slatton had seven digs and five assists.

Ooltewah has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they moved to 11-26 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Ooltewah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Dalton on the 2nd.
