Mt. Healthy and La Salle squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mt. Healthy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Lancers. The Fighting Owls' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-12, 25-8.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead La Salle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Ambach, who had 22 assists and five aces. Ambach has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last eight times he's played. Lance Wiesman was another key player, getting 14 digs.

Mt. Healthy's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for La Salle, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-17.

Mt. Healthy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for La Salle, they will square off against Archbishop McNicholas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight.
