Bunn came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets to the tune of 42-8. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four contests by 26 points or more so far this season.

Tyler Perry was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cj Kearney, who picked up 60 receiving yards and one TD.

Bunn didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dj Smith and Tashawn Crudup. Bunn received some extra help from Calvin Hooks, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Bunn's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Roanoke Rapids, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
