Loyd Star is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 40-27 win over St. Andrew's Episcopal. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Bay Springs had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They claimed a resounding 61-25 win over the Eagles. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Loyd Star's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Bay Springs, their win bumped their record up to 23-5.
