Softball Recap: San Angelo Central Gets the Win

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but San Angelo Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Cooper Cougars 15-14. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bobcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

San Angelo Central moved to 8-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Cooper, they moved to 10-6 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, San Angelo Central will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Monahans at 6:30 p.m. As for Cooper, they will take on Midland at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Midland will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Cooper surely won't give up without a fight.
