The third road game was the charm for Oologah, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They enjoyed a cozy 56-37 win over the Catoosa Indians on Thursday. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 27-24 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Catoosa still got an impressive performance from Matthew Compton, who threw for 166 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 88 yards on only 11 carries.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Catoosa, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Oologah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 31-29 victory against Skiatook on the 23rd. As for Catoosa, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-14 defeat against Fort Gibson on the 23rd.
