Soccer Recap: Providence Takes a Loss

Providence came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Holy Martyrs Armenian Armens, falling 6-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Holy Martyrs Armenian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in December of 2025.

Providence's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for Holy Martyrs Armenian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Providence will head out to challenge Le Lycee at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Holy Martyrs Armenian, they will venture away from home to take on Buckley at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
