Preview: Jackson Timberwolves vs. Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks

Jackson has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Jackson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Jackson pushed their score all the way to 65 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 80-65 bruising from Renton. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (60), Jackson still had to take the loss.

Jackson's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ryan Mcferran, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Colby Cooke who scored 16 points. The game was Mcferran's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Seamus Williams was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Marysville-Pilchuck scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They snuck past Cascade with a 59-54 win. That 59-54 margin sets a new team best for Marysville-Pilchuck this season.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Marysville-Pilchuck, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Jackson against Marysville-Pilchuck in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 84-37 victory. With Jackson ahead 37-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
