Football Recap: Appleton North Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Appleton North, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts 20-18. This was payback for the Lightning, who suffered a 13-10 loss the last time these two teams met.

Appleton North's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.5 points on average over those games. As for Kaukauna, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
