Soccer Recap: River Ridge Extends Winning Streak to Three

River Ridge kept a clean sheet against Gulf on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Gulf Buccaneers with a sharp 9-0 victory. It was an even better day for Landen Hebb as he scored three goals for his team.

The win (which was River Ridge's third in a row) raised their record to 7-2-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three games. As for Gulf, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season.

River Ridge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Miami Beach at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Miami Beach's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. After both having extra time off, Gulf and Fivay will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
